Cocinasana is a home cooking recipes blog made with WordPress, using the Genesis Framework theme and Wellness-Pro as child-theme.

It uses the WP Recipe Maker plugin for the creation and display of recipes, it is noteworthy that previously the blog used the theme cookingpress themeforest that brought a recipe manager included, it had to modify those existing recipes in the database and adjust to the model that uses WP Recipe Maker

The theme and a number of plugins were edited by source code and by design to improve SEO ranking by making use of PHP, HTML and CSS.

A plugin was developed to display links to related articles, but such correlation of articles is generated and updated by the registration of visitors to each article, as they are registered in the database, and an algorithm was created that locates and displays the articles of greatest interest in each publication.

For the management of these related articles a plugin called “Related Visits” was created, which shows the number of visits of each publication, and also the impressions of the related articles and the number of clicks on the article being displayed. It also makes it possible to exclude to show articles by categories or individually.

Using the records of the number of views made by the visitors, two pages were created Cocinasana de la A a la Z which displays a certain number of the most visited recipes grouped by the letters of the alphabet of the keyword of the Yoast SEO plugin and Todos los temas which also show a certain number of the most visited recipes. Both pages have amp versions.

The site Cocinasana has an amp version managed by the «WP AMP» plugin, whose amp page templates in the child theme have been edited as well as some plugins to improve SEO positioning and achieve amp page validation. The “related articles” plugin also works for the amp version and has full logging and click analysis functionalities. All amp pages are properly validated by Google.
